Ten months after a May 2015 SunTrust bank robbery, police got an arrest warrant accusing Gregory Bauer Roberts, and on Monday he turned himself in to face the charge.
Roberts, 46, who lives in Chapel Hill, surrendered at the Orange County Jail in Hillsborough, police said.
They had obtained a warrant charging him with one count of common law robbery of the bank branch on Dobbins Drive on May 28, 2015.
The unarmed man left the bank on foot and was seen running toward a nearby apartment complex.

Police did not say in their announcement how they identified Roberts as a suspect.
Roberts was booked on the charge and released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court May 27.
