A 60-year-old man was charged Wednesday afternoon with exposing himself in front of children and adults at the Marbles Kids Museum IMAX theater downtown, and police found he was convicted of indecent exposure in Pennsylvania three years ago.
Fred George Dravis, who told police he lives in an extended-stay hotel at 2800 Brentwood Road, also was charged with touching a girl on the leg while he was exposed and was masturbating.
Police stated in an arrest warrant that they estimated the girl was 8 to 10 years old.
Arrest records say police caught Dravis at 100 S. Person St., a short distance from the museum’s theater.
Dravis was being held on $20,000 bail on a felony charge of indecent exposure in a situation where the victim is under 16 and the suspect is more than 18 and misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure to adults and sexual battery for the touching.
He also was ordered held on another $100,000 bail because authorities in Berks County, Pa., issued an arrest warrant for him last August, saying he had violated probation and parole rules imposed after he was convicted of indecent exposure in 2013.
Dravis was scheduled for a Thursday court appearance.
