A man arrested last week on a child-rape charge dating to 2013 was charged this week with a sexual offense against a 10-year-old girl in June.
An arrest warrant obtained Monday by Raleigh police charged Saul Antonio Flores-Palacios, 26, of 905 Mailwood Drive in Raleigh with statutory sex offense against a child, which applies in a case in which the child was under 13 and the accused person was over 18.
He also was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.
Flores-Palacios was arrested Aug. 5 on the warrants in which sheriff’s office investigators accused him of first-degree rape of a child and taking indecent liberties.
With the new charges, Flores-Palacios’ bail was raised to $1,505,000.
