Police were searching Thursday morning for two men who they said fired shots into a house at 316 Ginwood Court and then fled as a resident shot back at them, officials said.
The incident happened shortly after 6:30 a.m., police said.
None appeared to have been hit by bullets, they said.
The men arrived in a beige or tan passenger car and forced their way into the house, police said.

A bullet from the exchange hit a vacant house at 904 S. Phillips St., police said.
