N.C. State University has hired a new administrator for its fund-raising team.
Francine Cronin, who has helped lead fund-raising efforts at the University of Rochester in New York, will be NCSU’s associate vice chancellor for university development, the university announced Thursday. She’ll start the new job in October.
Cronin has more than 25 years of experience in development in higher education at the University of Rochester, Emory University and at the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome. She began her career at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Cronin has been at the University of Rochester for the past five years and helped launch a $1.2 billion fund-raising campaign.
