Two Triangle Boy Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Alex Cadiz of Cary is Troop 316’s 59th Eagle Scout. He is the son of Mark and Michele Cadiz. For his Eagle project, Alex built guitar racks for Cardinal Gibbons High School.
Matthew Klassa of Cary is Troop 216’s 114th Eagle Scout. He is the son of John and Cheryl Klassa. For his project, Matthew led a group of scouts and adult volunteers in repainting a series of hallways at his church, Church of the Holy Cross in Raleigh. He also led a team in constructing a “prayer box” through which parishioners can submit prayer requests. Matthew is a sophomore at Anchor Academy High School in Cary.
