Two Boy Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
William David McHenry is a member of Troop 213 in Cary and the son of Bill and Donna McHenry. For his Eagle project, Will led the design and construction of a wheelchair ramp for the Precious Jewels class at Salem Baptist Church in Apex. Will is a graduate of Middle Creek High School and will attend East Carolina University.
Christopher Young is a member of Troop 424 in Durham. For his project, Christopher worked with the Immaculate Conception Community Garden to design and build an equipment storage shed and a raised planting bed. Christopher is a senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh and the son of Dr. and Mrs. Christopher Young of Durham.
