The Wake County school board’s facilities committee will deal with school construction costs and school designs on Wednesday.
The agenda includes a review of the cost of current construction projects. The other topic will be a review of the design schematics for E-38, E-43 and M-13.
E-38 is an elementary school on the western edge of Cary scheduled to open in 2016. E-43 is an elementary school in Holly Springs scheduled to open in 2016 that’s supposed to allow the enrollment caps in the town’s elementary schools to be lifted.
M-13 is a middle school in northeast Raleigh near River Bend Elementary that’s scheduled to open in 2017.
