The Wake County school board’s government relations committee is scheduled to discuss Monday a proposed task force dealing with municipal growth and next year’s General Assembly session.
At last month’s meeting, the committee backed creating a municipal impact of growth task force. The committee will get an update at today’s meeting.
Last time, the committee talked about wanting to put all options on the table, including impact fees on development. But that’s not likely going to happen in the current political and legal climate.
The other agenda topic is a discussion of the legislative agenda for the General Assembly’s 2015-16 session.
