Wake County school board appoints four principals

The Wake County school board appointed a new principal on Tuesday to Cedar Fork Elementary School in Morrisville and named interim principals to three other schools.

Che-Von Stone will take over at Cedar Fork on Feb. 3 with a salary of $72,450. Stone was assistant principal at Cedar Fork from 2008 to 2010 before her current job as assistant principal at Leesville Road Elementary School.

Charles Langley will be interim principal of Athens Drive High School in Raleigh from Jan. 2 to Jan. 17. He was the longtime principal of Willow Springs Elementary School before retiring and serving as an interim principal at various schools.

Ramey Beavers will stay on as interim principal of Fuquay-Varina High School to Feb. 28. He’s been filling in at the school since October.

Vicki Brown will remain interim principal of Knighdale Elementary School to Jan. 31. She’s been at the school since this month.
