Will Wake County’s top elected officials play nice when they meet this morning?

The Wake County Board of Commissioners and school board will hold their first joint meeting since May. They’ve had their moments since then, notably continuing to fight over control of school construction.

But when they meet today, their agenda has them discussing a proposed interlocal agreement for working together on school construction. Both sides have proposed different versions of the agreement that could be hammered out today.

The WakeEd blog is devoted to discussing and answering questions about the major issues facing the Wake County school system. WakeEd is maintained by The News & Observer's Wake schools reporter, T. Keung Hui.
