How school calendars are selected and modular classrooms at Cedar Fork Elementary School will be the topics at today’s Wake County school board facilities committee meeting.

The committee will discuss the calendar decision making process. The issue of calendar conversions and whether to move single-track year-round schools to multi-track, or vice versa, are issues that will get more attention as the district deals with growth.

The committee will also a special use permit for modulars at Cedar Fork. The Morrisville school has been capped for the past few years because of growth and overcrowding.
