From staff reports

State troopers are looking for relatives of a young man who was hit Saturday night while riding a bicycle near Dunn.

The rider had no identification, said the state highway patrol, and they were trying to find his relatives. The rider's condition was not released.

Troopers estimate the bike rider's age at 17 to 19. He was hit by a vehicle at about 7:30 p.m. while riding a BMX bike on the I-95 service road near mile marker 75, the highway patrol said.

The bike rider had no lights and wore no reflective clothing, the highway patrol said. Troopers do not plan to charge the driver.
