Carrboro seeks economic planners

CARRBORO -- The Carrboro Board of Aldermen is seeking Carrboro residents and Carrboro business owners interested in serving on a Local Living Economy Task Force.

This task force will investigate and evaluate strategies by which the town can help foster the development of a sustainable, locally owned and locally run economy. The group will meet once a month for 18 months.

Anyone interested should call the town clerk's office at 918-7309 or send e-mail to swilliamson@

townofcarrboro.org for application forms. The application deadline is Friday.
