Two of the anticipated three debates between U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan and state House Speaker Thom Tillis have been nailed down: Sept. 3 and Oct. 7.

Tillis’ campaign manager Jordan Shaw said both campaigns have committed to debate on those dates that will be hosted by the N.C. Association of Broadcasters. Further details haven’t been released.

The campaigns have previously accepted an invitation from the N.C. League of Women Voters and WECT-TV in Wilmington, but that date hasn’t been announced.

Earlier this month Hagan agreed to take part in three debates leading up to this fall’s election for Senate. The Tillis campaign said there should be at least six debates.
