Funeral services have been scheduled for Rep. Jim Fulghum, who died Saturday following a recent diagnosis of cancer.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Edenton Street United Methodist Church, Kerr Hall. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the church sanctuary.
Fulghum was running for state Senate, but withdrew after learning of his illness. The Republican Party has found a replacement candidate to run in the November election for the seat currently held by the retiring Sen. Neal Hunt.
