Democrats in the state Senate are using flubs in the state Medicaid billing system as a club to hit Gov. Pat McCrory and as a fundraising opportunity.
The state Senate caucus sent out a fundraising email that talks about Republicans’ decision not to expand Medicaid to 500,000 people and problems with the Medicaid billing system that left small medical practices struggling to stay open.
“While the rest of the nation has started to see health care reform under ObamaCare, North Carolina has found itself under a new system: ‘McCroryCare,’ ” according to the letter.
“Governor McCrory and Senate Republicans have shown time and time again that they aren’t concerned with the well being of North Carolina families.”
