Lt. Gov. Dan Forest could be forgiven if he has a case of deja vu as he campaigns in Charlotte today for GOP mayoral candidate Edwin Peacock.

Forest cut his teeth in Charlotte politics campaigning for his mother, Sue Myrick who served on the Charlotte City council from 1983-85, as mayor from 1987-91, and then represented much of the city in Congress from 1995 until she retired in January.
