GOP Senate candidate Thom Tillis had a high dollar fund raiser in Greenville on Tuesday night.

The state House speaker held a reception at the home of Tammy and Harry Smith, who is chairman and CEO of Flanders Corp, one of the largest manufacturers of air filters. Also hosting the event were Debbie and Henry Hinton, a broadcast executive and Lisa and Marcus Albernaz, a physician.

The contribution level ranged from $1,000 to $5,200, according to the Sunlight Foundation.

Tillis is seeking the GOP nomination in next Senate’s primary along with several other candidates.
