Gov. Pat McCrory appeared Wednesday on CNBC shortly after signing the fracking bill into law.
“We need to get in the natural gas business,” he said during an appearance on “Squawk on the Street.” “We began that process today. We hope to start doing some test wells possibly on some state property to see exactly what type of natural gas reserves we have ... and create some more jobs in North Carolina as part of the Carolina Comeback.”
