What she says:

* Wants to cut taxes for small businesses.

* Increase domestic oil supply by increasing or beginning production in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska National Wildlife Reserve.

* Reduce oil demand by increasing fuel economy standards, by providing point-of-sale rebates for hybrids and by promoting conservation.

* Will seek to modernize the Federal Housing Administration to help avoid future troubles in the housing market.

What she's done:

* Supported the economic stimulus plan aimed at reviving the economy.

* Co-sponsored legislation that would provide $50 billion to improve the nation's transportation infrastructure.

* Introduced a bill to expand the Trade Adjustment Assistance program. The program assists workers who lose their jobs because of foreign trade.

PETE DI LAURO of Halifax County didn't provide information on his candidacy.
