* Create a $30 billion emergency housing fund to help state and local governments prevent some foreclosures.

* Put 90-day moratorium on foreclosures and five-year freeze on interest rates for subprime loans.

* Set aside $10 billion to help states improve infrastructure, which would lead to new jobs.

* Accelerate $5 billion for energy efficiency and alternative energy.

* Spend $2.5 billion to improve workforce training programs.

* Strengthen unions.

What she's done:

* Introduced legislation that would impose a temporary fee on oil profits and use the proceeds to boost alternative energy.

* Voted against the Central America Free Trade Agreement.

* Voted to approve free trade between the U.S. and Chile, Singapore and Vietnam.

What he says:

* Create a $10 billion foreclosure prevention fund to help victims of fraud sell homes or modify loans to avoid bankruptcy.

* Cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families.

* Amend the North American Free Trade Agreement so it gives more benefits to U.S. workers.

* Require that 25 percent of electricity come from renewable sources by 2025 to create jobs.

* Double funding for research.

* Strengthen unions.

What he's done:

* Introduced the "Stop Fraud" act in the U.S. Senate to boost penalties for mortgage fraud.

* In 2007, introduced the "Patriot Employer Act" to provide tax credits to companies that increase their U.S. workforce compared to their foreign workforce, maintain headquarters in the U.S., provide health care and meet other criteria.
