I've attended the CIAA since the beginning. My career has been in education and athletics and health, and I've always been connected in some way with that type of thing, sports. I look forward to it because we usually go as a family. I have four children and grands, and we all go. This year, it was like a family reunion and my favorite team, which is Shaw University girls, won the championship.They had won four championships back to back. Last year they did not win, Central won. They are not any longer in the CIAA and Shaw won again this year, which means five recent wins -- which I think is wonderful. I worked at Shaw for 36 years. They keep on keeping on.I was a physical education major, and I had to play all sports to get a degree. I'm 90 years old, and I have to cut back now, but it's been a long haul with sports.It's just something that you can put your fingers on that you look forward to your with your friends, and your see your coworkers.
