WHERE THE SUPERDELEGATES STAND
The Democratic superdelegates are increasingly the focus of interest.
If the coming primaries don't produce a clear winner between Clinton and Obama, the role of 800 superdelegates will come under increased scrutiny.
Those are delegates who will attend the convention because of their status as elected Democrats or party members from each state. They can support any candidate they want, regardless of the election results. Here's a breakdown of the state's 19 committed and uncommitted superdelegates:
