DURHAM — Police are seeking a Durham man who has been charged with breaking into the Pure Food Shop at 601 West Chapel Hill Street — twice.
William Lindsey Straiter, 36, of Spring Creek Drive, is charged with stealing cash, cigarettes, phone cards, lighters, watches and clothing, according to Durham police. The two break-ins occurred March 27 and April 18.
Anyone with information regarding Straiter’s whereabouts is asked to call investigator B.S. Jones at 560-4406, extension 270, or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200. CrimeStoppers offers cash rewards for tips that lead to arrests; callers do not have to identify themselves.
