Wake County residents who prefer to pay their county tax bills in person in downtown Raleigh have to go to a new location.

The county Revenue Department has moved to a new site: Suite 200 of the Bank of America Building at 421 Fayetteville St. in downtown Raleigh. The new revenue office, less than three blocks from its former location, is open between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Monday through Friday for those who wish to pay their tax bills.
