PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLA. -- Authorities have found the body of a paratrooper who was stationed in North Carolina but are searching for another missing swimmer at Panama City Beach.

Sgt. Robbie Newsome of the Bay County Sheriff's Office said the body of Pierre E. Allen, 21, of Water Valley, Miss., was spotted from a helicopter Sunday morning about 100 yards offshore in 15 feet of water. The body was close to the location where Allen was last seen Saturday afternoon.

Allen was a paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg.

Panama City Beach police Maj. David Humphreys said another swimmer was reported missing about 1 a.m. Sunday. That swimmer's name has not been released.
