Sex offender charged again

WENDELL -- A convicted sex offender has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Dex Alancio Brown, 22, of Dear Tracks Drive in Wendell, was charged Friday felony commission of a "lewd or lascivious act" on a 15-year-old girl, according to an arrest warrant.

Also, Jessica Michelle Liles, 18, of Zebulon, was charged with aiding and abetting indecent liberties with a child, a felony.

Brown was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a child in 2003. He was given a suspended prison sentence and placed on probation, according to state Department of Correction records.

Brown was released Friday from the Wake County jail after posting $50,000 secured bail. Liles was released after posting $25,000 secured bail.
