Back-to-school celebration planned

RALEIGH -- Wake County Schools Superintendent Del Burns will be the guest speaker at a free "Back To School Partnership Celebration" on Saturday.

Everyone who is involved with educating children in the Wake County Public School System is urged to attend.

The Coalition of Concerned Citizens for African American Children is sponsoring the event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Wake County Commons Building, 4011 Carya Drive in Raleigh.

People are asked to register at cccaac.com or call 231-9057 for more information.
