The Wake Forest Police Department is still searching for a Hispanic man missing since Friday afternoon.
The search for Luis Vargas Montes now involves the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the Raleigh Fire Department, Wake County EMS, the N.C. Highway Patrol, and N.C. Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 8.
Montes is Hispanic, 5-foot-5, 150 pounds and has short brown hair, brown eyes and medium complexion.
Montes' family reported him missing on Saturday. His white, four-door Oldsmobile was located Monday on Six Forks Road in the Falls Lake area. Investigators are unsure if Montes left the vehicle, took off, or is the victim of foul play.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Wake Forest Police Department at 556-9111. Anonymous tips will be accepted.
