Teen charged with robbing three stores

Raleigh police charged a 16-year-old Raleigh teen with robbing three stores either with a knife or a revolver.

Victor Jordan Johnson of Paces Arbor Circle, off Lynn Road, was charged with armed robbery and attempted robbery.

He was picked up Friday after he police say he robbed African Art Connections on Six Forks Road. According to a search warrant, Johnson produced a knife and demanded money from the register and the clerk's cell phone. Police officers responding to the incident later found him along the Raleigh park system greenway.

Police suspect Johnson also robbed the GNC store at Creedmoor Road on July 18; the Electric Beach store on Six Forks Road, July 27, and attempted to rob Hilkers Cleaners at Creedmoor Road Aug. 5.
