Durham County Library continues its celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with a free bilingual presentation about Simon Bolivar's time in the United States today (Saturday) at 3 p.m. at the Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro St.

Bolivar played an integral role in winning Latin America's independence from Spain. Miguel Chirinos will describe Bolivar's visit to the United States in 1806 and show a seven-minute video, on loan from the Venezuelan Embassy.
