Durham man charged with abusing child

closeDURHAM -- Police have arrested a Durham man on charges that he repeatedly raped and sexually abused a child under the age of 13.
Alexis Gomez Garcia Herberth, 24, of 1701 Kirkwood Drive was arrested this weekend and is being held in the Durham County Jail in lieu of $800,000 bail. Police said they think the abuse occurred between February and October of this year.
