RALEIGH -- Attorneys with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice will offer free legal consultations Friday to the Latino community.
The event is part of a community service project to increase understanding of legal rights for the Latino community, according to a media release from N.C. Advocates for Justice.
The consultations will be available at Comunidad Cristiana Hosanna at 204 Shelden Drive in Raleigh on Friday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Intake will begin at 3:30 p.m.
This event was previously scheduled for El Santuario Church on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh.
Bilingual attorneys from the Hispanic Latino Legal Issues Division of the N.C. Advocates for Justice will provide assistance on issues such as immigration, criminal matters, family law and employment rights, the release said.
In addition, "Know Your Rights" presentations will be held to share information on major issues affecting the Latino community.
The N.C. Advocates for Justice is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting people’s rights.
