RALEIGH -- Police have charged a Durham man with using false names to obtain almost $20,000 in treatment and medication from Rex Hospital.
Stephen Ryan Glenn, 39, of 6 Lake Hill Drive in Durham, faces three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and one count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery. He was being held Monday in the Wake County jail with his bail set at $10,000.
Warrants accuse Glenn of using false names and birth dates, and falsely claiming injury to get medication. The documents say he obtained $19,992 in medicine and services, and the narcotic Dilaudid.
