closeTraffic is backed up in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 from the Airport Road exit to the Wade Avenue exit.
Troopers are also working an accident in the eastbound lanes between exits 287 and 289, which is causing further delays. Three cars bumped into each other in the traffic, but no one was injured, according to state Highway Patrol.
