RALEIGH -- A teenager lost the sight in his left eye in a stabbing Friday night.
Kevin James Soto, 17, of Raleigh underwent surgery after he was stabbed by a man in a street fight on Curthay Court near Rock Quarry Road, according to police arrest warrants.
Arrested in connection with the stabbing was Phillip Bryant Hargrove, 31, of 1401 E. Club Blvd., Durham.
Hargrove has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
He was being held at the Wake County jail Saturday in lieu of $200,000 bail. He has several assault and weapon possession convictions and had been released from prison in late October after serving time for assault charges, according to correction department records.
