The Chapel Hill Community Chorus will present An Italian Christmas Celebration tonight and Saturday at 8 p.m. The concert will take place in Hill Hall on the UNC campus and will feature Christmas music from Italy.

The concert is part of an Italian cultural exchange project with the Chapel Hill Community Choir and its composer-in-residence, Giuseppe Di Bianco, from Maiori, Italy.

The Triangle Sons of Italy is also sponsoring the project. Tickets are $15 and can be bought online at www.trianglesonsofitaly.org or by calling 368-7070.

The Scrap Exchange of Durham is organizing a multipart series examining nonprofit offices in the area, looking at a variety of lease, ownership, and building options.

The program includes tours of several facilities, including nonprofits groups that have found permanent homes in properties they own as well as those who lease.

The series will culminate with a panel discussion involving the nonprofits whose facilities were featured along with other experts in the field.

Tours begin Jan. 6 and include Threshold Clubhouse, Triangle Community Foundation, Child Care Services Association and Durham Arts Place.

The series is free and open to the public, though pre-registration is required for the tours. Call Ann Woodward at 682-2751 or e-mail ann@scrapexchange.org to reserve a spot.
