DURHAM -- Durham police investigators are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft during a Jan. 12 fundraiser.

The Choral Society of Durham was hosting a fundraiser in their offices on the lower floor of 120 Morris Street when a person entered an unlocked office around 8 p.m. and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man had short black hair and was missing his two front teeth, according to police. He was wearing a brown jacket with a diamond pattern woven in it and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator A.C. Rogers at 560-4406, ext. 270.
