Henderson police were investigating Sunday a reported car-jacking in which a man was taken to Durham and back in his car, according to Vance County emergency communications officials.

The man, whose name has not been released, called 911 about 4 a.m. Sunday, saying that two men carrying an assault rifle and semi-automatic handgun car-jacked him in his 2002 burgundy Hyundai Santa Fe.

The man told police that he had been taken to Durham before being released back in Henderson.
