Enough already.

Summerlike heat set another record Tuesday, when the temperature hit 94 at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. That's about 20 degrees above normal and shatters the record of 88 back in 1990.

Tuesday was the second straight day of record heat recorded at RDU, with the high of 93 Monday also breaking a 17-year-old mark.

The weather should get more fall-like by the end of the week. Forecasters expect overnight lows in the 40s over the weekend, with the temperature Saturday struggling to reach 70.
