NC Board of Transportation won’t give local elected officials more ‘local’ input on DOT projects

The new Strategic Mobility Formula law says “local” input will count for half of DOT’s decision on on which local projects to build. The Board of Transportation says regional DOT administrators will be accorded half of that local vote.
