GARNER — Garner police are seeking two men who robbed a SunTrust Bank branch this morning and walked away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Witnesses told police that the two suspects implied they had a weapon after entering the bank at 118 Small Pine Drive. Bank employees reported the robbery at 10:41 a.m. today, said police spokesman Joe Binns.
Police searched the vicinity with the help of a K-9 unit but couldn't locate the suspects, Binns said.
Police reported that one of the suspects is a black male, 5' 10" tall and weighs about 225 pounds. The suspect, believed to be in his late 20's to early 30's, wore a brown jacket and a New York Yankees hat.
The second suspect, also a black male, is 5' 10" and weighs about 210 pounds. He was wearing a dark shirt and sunglasses and had gold teeth and a goatee.

The N.C. Bankers Association offers rewards for information leading to the arrest of bank robbers.
