CHAPEL HILL -
A raccoon in Orange County tested positive for rabies, according to Orange County Animal Services.The raccoon attacked a dog Saturday in Cedar Grove near Efland Cedar Grove Road and McDade Store Road. The dog's owners killed the raccoon and called Animal Control to test it. The dog had not been vaccinated against rabies.This is the year's 10th rabies case in Orange County. Affected animals include eight raccoons, a bat and a fox.
