Cultural arts center to debut in Apex

APEX - The town has announced an open house for the public from 10 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday at the grand opening of the Halle Cultural Arts Center of Apex.

The opening will showcase the restoration, renovation and expansion of the 1912 Apex Town Hall, a National Register historic property at 237 North Salem St. in downtown Apex. The building will house studios, classrooms, galleries and a 135-seat theater, all devoted to Apex's arts community.
