RALEIGH -- Mayor Charles Meeker will turn on more than 30,000 lights along Fayetteville Street at 5:15 p.m. today.
The lights will cover each of the 64 trees along Fayetteville Street.
Victorian carolers and free horse-drawn carriage rides will also be at the lighting.
The mayor will flip the switch on the south side of the 100 block of Fayetteville Street.
