A driver involved in a collision that killed a pedestrian south of downtown this week has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, police announced Thursday.Police say Janechka Richards Nunn, 32, of Apex was driving on South Saunders Street on Tuesday afternoon when a Toyota turning into a parking lot stopped in front of her to allow a man to cross the lot's entrance. Nunn's Kia minivan rammed the rear of the Toyota, forcing it forward into the man, according to police.Police still have not released the pedestrian's name, because they have not been able to locate any next of kin. The pedestrian died Wednesday.Nunn was initially charged with failing to reduce speed. The driver of the Toyota, Lisa Johnson Lewis, 28, of Kenly was not charged.
