Hair, blood samples taken of 4 suspects

RALEIGH -- Investigators have seized hair and blood samples from the four teens accused of killing Matt Silliman.

According to search warrants made public Monday, sheriff's deputies took hair, saliva and blood from Allegra Dahlquist, Ryan Hare, Aadil Khan and Drew Shaw.

The four teens have been held without bail in the Wake County jail since their arrests in early December.

Investigators wrote in the warrant application that they need to compare the samples from the four with samples on items seized from their homes and the mobile home where the 18-year-old Apex High student's body was found.

Last week, investigators also sought permission to search files on a digital camera they seized in connection with Silliman's death.
