CARY -- Police are looking for a suspect who robbed the First Citizens Bank at 1825 Kildaire Farm Road on Thursday.
The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money after he threatened a teller with a small device he said was a bomb.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, about 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, with a goatee.
Police did not provide information about the suspect's hair color or length or other distinguishing characteristics. Police did not provide any further identifying characteristics such as hair style, birthmarks or tattoos. He was last seen wearing a white painter's hat, mirrored sunglasses, a surgical mask and dirty, construction-type clothing.
The Cary police ask anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 226-2746 or www.carycrimestoppers.net. Rewards are offered for information leading to arrest, and calls are kept confidential.
