HOLLY SPRINGS -- A broken sewer valve caused the weekend spill of untreated wastewater from the town of Holly Springs' collection system at the intersection of Linksland Drive and Holly Springs Road, according to town officials.
The Saturday spill totaled 3,000 gallons, with about 2,000 gallons of untreated wastewater entering a nearby storm drain.
